    This evening we purchased 2 magic rolls as takeaway and carried them home. I was disappointed that you appear to have stopped using the insulated bags to keep the food warm. Firstly my fingers were burnt when i was passed 2 hot rolls directly from the grill, wrapped only in paper, this caused me to drop one, much to my dismay. Once we had walked the 10 mins home the food was completely cold, despite being hugged inside our coats. In Nov it can be expected that food will chill if only wrapped in paper. I appreciate the need to reduce packaging but i was very disappointment to experience cold and unappetising food and burnt fingers.

    Please can you inform me if this is a permanent change as it will alter my purchasing as i hate cold food when i get home.

    Thankyou for your comment. I’m sorry to hear your Rolls were cold and your fingers got burnt. We are forever trying to make the Magic Roll better for everyone and care about all customer comments. The problem with the foil bags was that they steamed the rolls, which makes the bread soggy. The other problem as you mentioned is the environmental impact as these bags are non-biodegrable. In light of your comment we are now experimenting with different ways of packaging the rolls. So to answer your question this is not a permanent method. If you could call our head office on 0117 941 5857 asking for either Leon or Jason for a quick chat that would be great. Again I apologise for your inconveniences.
